These handmade cards are made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled fiber printed with soy ink. Each note is embedded with a special blend of wildflower seeds that will grow just about anywhere. The back of each card is printed with easy planting instructions, and the paper will recycle naturally into the soil as the seedlings grow. The inside of each greeting is card is blank for you to personalize. Each card comes with a red envelope containing 30 percent post consumer waste.

Artist Bio
The eco-friendly Green Field Paper Company has been making paper by hand, one sheet at a time, since 1992. They use a number of environmentally friendly techniques to produce tree free paper: they reused the water used in producing the paper, use no new trees in manufacturing their paper, and they offset 100% of the energy used in their offices and manufacturing studios with wind power credits. In 1997 and 2007 the City of San Diego named the Green Field Paper Company the Recycler of the Year.
